Face scan

Put your face, skin tone and hair on your skater in skate. Your phone does the scan, and your game downloads the result once.

Code from the game

Open the ReSkate menu in the game (Insert), go to Face scan and scan the QR code with your phone. You can also type the code shown under it.

Before you start

The camera feed stays on your phone. Face detection runs in this page; no video or photo is uploaded.
What is uploaded: a flat face texture made from one frame, plus a skin colour, hair colour, hairstyle and facial hair type that the game matches to its own options.
Your game downloads it once, and that deletes it. Anything not picked up is deleted after 24 hours. This page has no analytics. Details.

This is my own face, and I agree to the above.

Your face goes on as scanned. For skin tone and hair, the game picks its own option closest to these colours. Adjust them if the light was off.

Your game picks it up within a few seconds. Look at the Face scan page in the ReSkate menu. Once the game downloads it, it is deleted from skatemods.
