Speedometer — native ReSkate mod

This DLL runs inside the game and draws through ReSkate's existing renderer. The complete speedometer is in Mods\Speedometer.

• Bottom-right dial and numeric horizontal board speed.
• Draws during gameplay independently. The runtime polls the HUD's frame request before skipping inactive menu rendering.
• Ctrl+Alt+M switches MPH/km/h, saved in this mod's settings.ini.
• Ctrl+Alt+S toggles visibility during the current session.
• At or above 65 MPH, the turbo bar fills in five seconds.
• Full charge cracks the glass. Below 65, the bar drains in three seconds and the glass resets when it empties. Loading/invalid skater data resets the effect.
• The needle continues beyond 120 to point straight down at 140 MPH.
• Disable/enable this package from ReSkate's MODS menu; the HUD follows within about one second. The DLL stays loaded until the game closes.
• The HUD follows game-menu/UI visibility, and scales with the game viewport.

Required runtime

This is a native mod for the custom ReSkate 1.0.8-speedometer runtime installed with it. Stock ReSkate 1.0.8 does not provide a native HUD DLL interface. The custom runtime adds a small versioned drawing/telemetry bridge; this package does not pretend that placing a DLL in the stock Mods folder makes it load.

The accompanying custom ReSkate launcher recognizes this package and does not automatically replace the custom runtime with a stock update. Its original files are backed up separately. Installing an official ReSkate update will remove the bridge, and this native mod will then need to be ported/reinstalled.

Target game: Steam build 25414733. The package and runtime both check the game build. Board speed excludes vertical velocity; carrying the board is not a measure of running speed. The mod provides visual turbo effects.
