FAQ /

Is there a Skate 3 PC port?

Not an official one. EA never released Skate 3 on PC. The unofficial port is skate3recomp on GitHub, a native recompilation of the Xbox 360 version for Windows, Linux and macOS. It's free, but you need your own Xbox 360 disc image.

skate3recomp

mchughalex/skate3recomp is “an unofficial native recompilation of the Xbox 360 version of Skate 3, supporting Windows, Linux, and macOS.” The first release came out in June 2026, and v2.0 (July 24, 2026) added a native Direct3D 12 and Vulkan renderer. The repository has over 1,500 stars.

It’s a recompilation, not an emulator: the game’s code was translated to native code ahead of time (how that works). That’s why people call it the Skate 3 PC port.

What you need

Install it step by step, or read the full Recomp guide for DLC, mods, Steam Deck and settings.

Ports built on it

The same recompilation runs on Android (Skate3-Mobile), on iPhone and iPad (skate3-ios-setup) and on jailbroken PS4s (skate3-ps4). Every one uses your own disc image.

Downloads that include the game

Sites offering a “Skate 3 PC download” with the game files included aren’t connected to this project. They’re not legal to share and some carry malware. The real port is only on GitHub.
