A fan mod by bAstimc that brings levels from THPS3 through Project 8 into the Unreal remakes. It started on 1+2 because a 3+4 remake seemed unlikely, then moved to 3+4 when one shipped.
When Vicarious Visions was folded into Blizzard, a remake of THPS3 and 4 looked off the table. A ResetEra thread from 2022 says “THPS3+4 will probably never happen anymore”. So bAstimc, who had started learning UE4 that February with guidance from GHFear (THPS Podcast), began bringing THPS3 to 1+2 instead, starting with Los Angeles. By late 2022, THPSPro had THPS3 maps playable in the remake.
More levels with every update
Update videos on YouTube track the growth, and each one thanks a long list of helpers. That list includes THUG Pro’s morten and Skate 3 tool author GHFear (update 2). Update 8 added the Project 8 world with goals. Today the 1+2 version “adds all THPS3+4, Underground 1+2 levels, the THP8 World + Downhill Rio and few THAW levels”. It also includes a LAN/VPN free-skate online mode for the Epic version.
Then 3+4 shipped
Iron Galaxy’s THPS 3+4 came out in July 2025, and THPSPro moved with it. The 1.0 release for 3+4 brought back custom restarts, the free-roam camera, lost levels and goals, and recreated old-school tech like boostplants. Both versions install as Unreal .pak files in the game’s ~mods folder. The rest of the remakes’ Nexus scene is mostly character swaps and quality-of-life tweaks. THPSPro’s own Discord is linked from discord.thpspro.com.
The scene exists because these people gave their time, usually for free. If you're missing from this list, or we got your work wrong, fix it on GitHub.
Author of THPSPro for THPS 1+2 and 3+4. Started learning UE4 in February 2022 with guidance from GHFear, after years modding THAW and Project 8 builds. THPSPro ports levels from later games and restores classic tech, along with goals, a free-roam camera and a LAN mode.
