A playable port of the TranZit map from Call of Duty: Black Ops II Zombies for skate., built with ReSkate.

Included

Full TranZit environment with original map textures
Bus Depot, Diner, Farm, Power Station, Town, and Nacht der Untoten / cornfield area
Fast-travel points
Road and vehicle collision passes
Additional collision on major rocks, fences, barriers, and route props
Problematic Zombies-only underground/interior areas sealed where needed
Performance-oriented cleanup for ReSkate

Important differences from Black Ops II

This is a skateable map port, not a recreation of Zombies gameplay.

No Zombies scripting, rounds, perks, doors, Pack-a-Punch logic, or enemy systems
The TranZit bus is not included in the public release because the ReSkate bus-lane prototype caused performance and spawn-density issues
Some decorative props may still have imperfect or missing collision
Some source-map helper geometry and scripted states were removed for playability

Installation

ReSkate / Thunderstore

Install normally through the ReSkate launcher / Thunderstore mod browser, then launch the game through ReSkate.

Open:

Pause Menu -> CUSTOM STUFF -> BO2 TranZit

Manual install

Create:

<skate. install folder>\Mods\AminM1-BO2_Tranzit\

Extract the package contents directly into that folder.

manifest.json, layout.toc, reskate-levels.json, and the Win32 folder should sit directly inside the mod folder.

Known limitations

Collision is focused on important traversal areas rather than every decorative object.
A few source-map visual oddities may remain.
Zombies-specific scripted areas may be inaccessible by design.
Future skate. / ReSkate updates may require a rebuilt map.

Install BO2 Tranzit

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
Search for BO2 Tranzit and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.

skatemods doesn't host or review this mod. The download comes straight from Thunderstore. Only install mods you trust, because scripts can run code.
