Customizable post-processing effects for skate. through ReSkate. Adjust the game's colours, recreate classic skate-video aesthetics, and save your own presets directly in-game.
Controls
Default controller binding: LB + L3 (left bumper + left-stick click).
To customize your binding, go to:
ReSkate Menu → Settings → Controls → Plugins
You can assign another supported controller or keyboard input.
Features
- Colour customization: VX colour grading, tint, RGB overlays, lightness, and image softness.
- Video effects: Tape grain, scanlines, tape dropouts, head switching, tape smear, film scratches, and vignette.
- Camera effects: Fisheye, 4:3 bars, and lens hood.
- Built-in presets: VX1000, Hi8 Camcorder, MiniDV, 90s Skate Video, and Waifus Custom.
- Custom presets: Save and load up to three personal presets.
- HUD toggle: Hide the in-game HUD for cleaner footage.
- Hotkey support: Toggle PostFX on or off instantly.

Install Waifus CameraFX
You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.
- Open
ReSkateLauncher.exeand go to MODS. - Search for Waifus CameraFX and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
- Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.
Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.
Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
