Skated Griptapes

18 griptapes for your board: clean ones, skated ones, hand-lettered RESKATE grips, flames and marbled swirls. Everything after the three fresh ones is worn, scratched and chipped.

The griptapes

New

• Fresh Black - clean black grip
• Fresh Cut Line - clean, with an angled cut line near the front bolts
• Fresh Orange Stripe - clean, with an orange band near the tail

Skated

• Dusty - greyed by the sun, dust and shoe scuffs where your feet stand
• Scratched - scrapes, bald patches and small chips at both ends
• Razor Tail - tail ground down through blue and yellow dyed wood layers
• Peeled Nose - grip torn off the nose, bare wood with scraps of grip and glue left behind
• Thrashed Orange Stripe - heavy chips on nose and tail with the wood layers showing, faded stripe

RESKATE, drawn on by hand (the paint rubs off where your feet stand)

• ReSkate Paint Pen - graffiti letters in a cream double line, a blue line round the word, stars on it
• ReSkate Block Letters - white letters with hatched sides, blue strokes inside, red dashes round them; nose peeled
• ReSkate Bubble Letters - fat green hatched letters, blue and gold lines round the word, spray dots
• ReSkate Sharpie - silver and red marker: open letters, tags and doodles all over
• ReSkate Chalk - chalk in four colours, dusty and smeared

Printed, then skated

• Flames Red Black - split down the middle, one half red and one black, each licking into the other
• Flames Black Red - the halves the other way round, longer flames, nose peeled
• Swirl Pink Cyan - marbled pink into blue into cyan, dark ink pulled through it
• Swirl Sunset - marbled yellow, orange, pink and purple
• Swirl Toxic - marbled yellow and green into teal, tail peeled

Details

• The wear is built into the colour, normal map and mask textures, so chips and scrapes catch the light as dents and worn spots are smoother than fresh grit.
• Wear rings and dirt sit exactly round the truck bolts.
• Chipped ends show the deck's veneers layer by layer.
• The chips are painted onto the grip: the outline of the board itself does not change.
• The lettering runs along the board and reads from the tail towards the nose.

Install

Install with the mod manager. To install by hand, extract the zip into its own folder inside Skate\Mods.
