Hall of Meat

skate. 3's Hall of Meat for ReSkate, as a pure Luau plugin (no DLL).

  • Bail and see the damage: an x-ray of your skater's bones, yellow where a hit bruised one and red where one broke. The screen pulses red and, in single player, the game slows down as a bone breaks.
  • The Meat card in the bottom left corner: hits, broken bones, road rash, airtime, fall, speed and rotations, added up to your Meat. Each map keeps its best.
  • Versus throwdown: pick Hall of Meat under Throwdowns, place the flag and let friends join. Players take turns, one bail each per round, like S.K.A.T.E. You get 1, 3 or 5 tries each and score by total or by your best try. The most Meat wins. Everyone in the match needs this mod.

Settings

The Hall of Meat page in the ReSkate menu (Insert), or the console:

hallofmeat on|off       the x-ray and the Meat card after a bail
hallofmeat slow on|off  slow motion as a bone breaks (single player only)
hallofmeat reset        forget this map's best
hallofmeat versus       the versus match's standings

Known issues

  • Uninstall other Hall of Meat mods first; two mods can't both own the hallofmeat command.

Install Skate3 Hall of Meat

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for Skate3 Hall of Meat and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.

skatemods doesn't host or review this mod. The download comes straight from Thunderstore. Only install mods you trust, because scripts can run code.
