Play as Mimi, a full-body custom skater for ReSkate.

  • A complete custom costume: her own model, textures and materials, skinned to the game's skater rig.
  • Hoodie, thigh-high stockings, paws, ears and tail, all animated with the regular skater animations.
  • Adds a new item. No existing costume is replaced.

Credits

  • Mimi is an original character by @crispytyph. All credit for the character and her design goes to them. Please credit @crispytyph when you share clips or screenshots of this mod.
  • 3D model: "Mimi (typh) restyle" by Sosiska, licensed under CC BY 4.0. Changes: rescaled and rigged to the Skate skater skeleton, re-weighted, hidden inner geometry removed, and converted to Skate's mesh and material formats.
  • Built on ReSkate.
  • Made with the help of AI coding tools (Claude Code and OpenAI Codex) for the rigging, conversion and packaging.

Requirements

  • ReSkate, on the game build it currently supports.

Install

  • In the ReSkate launcher, open MODS and install Mimi Avatar, or drag this zip onto the launcher window.
  • Start the game, open customization and equip Costume Mimi 00001 from the full-body costumes.

Uninstall

Turn the mod off in the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) or in the launcher, then restart.

Notes

  • Body sliders do not change her shape.
  • Not tested in multiplayer yet.

Install Mimi Avatar

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for Mimi Avatar and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
