Independent Truck Pack

Thirty-five real Independent trucks for ReSkate, all picked for the looks. No plain silver or blackout Indys here: every truck carries a real hanger graphic or a loud colour, from pro models and collabs to Realtree camo and anodised blue.

Every truck is its own item under Board > Trucks, so they work with any deck pack you run.

What's in the box

Little details

• The prints are Indy's own. Each one is lifted from Independent's product shots, laid flat and put on the outside face of the hanger, where Indy prints it. It sits the right way up when you ride, on both trucks, and keeps the real placement: centred, off to one end, or a cross at each end.
• Real colourways. Hanger, baseplate and bushing colours follow each release. Anodised colours and raw silver shine like metal, flat black and powder coat stay flat, and the ink sits on top.
• Nothing you already have. skate. ships a few Indys of its own (a plain Stage 11, the black bar logo and three Built To Grind trucks), and none of those are repeated here.
• Standard width. No extra mods needed.
• Each one is its own item, so nothing replaces the stock trucks.

They all use skate.'s own truck shape, so Stage 11, Forged and Hollow trucks differ here only in their print and colour, not in height or casting. The graphics and colours are what make them Indys.

Install

Mod manager (easiest): hit install, launch ReSkate, done.

By hand:

1. Unzip so the files sit straight inside a folder in your ReSkate Mods folder, for example Mods/Independent_Truck_Pack/layout.toc. Don't leave them one folder deeper or the game won't see them.
2. Make sure it's enabled on the launcher's MODS page.
3. In game, go to the board customizer, open Trucks, and scroll to the ones starting with Independent.

Built for the current pinned ReSkate build. If ReSkate updates and these vanish from the menu, the pack probably needs a rebuild, so give me a shout.

Credits

The Independent name, the cross and every hanger graphic belong to Independent Truck Company and the artists, riders and brands behind each design (Toy Machine, Thrasher, Slayer, Primitive, Realtree, Rhino and the rest). Huge respect to them. The reference photos are Independent's own catalog shots as carried by skate shops. This is a free fan pack for a fan project, and it isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Independent or NHS. If you're a rightsholder and want something pulled, reach out and it's gone, no drama.
