All Bodies Are Beautiful

Reshape your skater however you like, right from the ReSkate menu, and take it all the way to the absurd. Start from a fun preset like Tadpole, Giraffe or Pancake, or build your own: size and length of every body part, poses, effects, shapes and fractals, board size, and profiles to save it all.

What's inside

• Size: overall size, width, the size and length of each body part, with left and right set separately.
• Profiles: fun ready-made bodies, random bodies, mutation, and 6 slots that save all your settings.
• Body: a sine wave along the spine, and every joint can be turned, moved and resized on each axis. Roulette spins every joint.
• Effects: over 70 effects, spasms, springs, explosions, and reactions to your tricks, landings and falls. Each goes from -300 % (the opposite) to +300 %.
• Poses: 15 poses to hold, with both feet on the ground.
• Head: put your head in your hand, on your foot and more, and lock it at a height.
• Board: length, width and height, pulse, elastic, rainbow colors, or hide it.
• Emotes and Shapes: 6 dances and poses, and 20 shapes and fractals drawn with the body.

Everything is off when you install it: your skater looks normal until you change something. Reset everything to default at the top of the menu takes you back there (click twice to confirm); your saved profiles are kept.

Open All Bodies Are Beautiful in the plugin menu. Every option also has a console command, for example size 1.5, effect spin 1, pose dab, shape koch 2, board width 2.

Multiplayer and anti-grief

Visible to other players is at the top of the menu. Turn it off and your changes only show on your screen, with no limits.

Your changes are only sent when everyone in the session has the same version of this mod. If someone does not, you only see them on your own screen and the menu tells you. ReSkate can only show a pose to everyone or nobody, so one player without it turns this off for the whole session.

On a server you do not host, every setting has a realistic limit, and the menu lists what is being limited:

• Size 80 to 120 %, width 85 to 120 %, body parts 70 to 120 %, lengths 80 to 120 %, chest and butt up to 100 %, hunched back up to 12 degrees.
• Effects up to 50 % in either direction. Those that take the body apart or lift it are off.
• Pivots: 45 degrees, 10 cm, size 80 to 120 %, no spinning.
• Board 80 to 120 %, pulse and elastic up to 30 %.
• Off: shapes, roulette, swapped limbs, wheel legs, hidden parts, moving the head, and the height stabilizer.

If you host, choose who has no limits:

• Only me (host), the default
• Me and all players, for players who also have this mod
• Nobody

The host can also widen or tighten all the limits at once with two sliders, one for minimums and one for maximums, from 25 % to 400 %. At 200 % on maximums, the size limit goes from 120 % to 140 %.

Dedicated servers always keep the limits. Only the session's host can lift or change them.

The limits run in each player's own copy of this mod: they keep this mod's users reasonable, but they cannot stop older versions of it or other mods.

Good to know

• Bodies come from moving the game's bones, so the skin stretches at extreme settings. Each bone can only be scaled evenly, so a part cannot be flattened on one axis.
• Changes are visual only: your skater and board ride as usual.
• It uses the pose system other plugins use too, such as Absorb and Balance: if another plugin holds the pose, the menu says so.
