Three effect boards for skate. (ReSkate). Each one is a deck bottom graphic item with real in-game particle effects that ride on the skateboard itself, flips included. Effects come only from the wheels: every wheel gets an effect plus a trail that streams behind you as you roll.

How to use
- Install with the ReSkate mod manager, or extract into
Skate/Mods/PTG_Animated_Skateboard_Trails. - In the board customizer, open the Bottom Texture slot and equip one of the three boards.
- The effects are always on, even when the board is lying on the ground.
Notes
- The effects reuse the game's own costume effects (StuntRider fire, Grim Reaper flame trail, Ghost Skater trails, Dynamite sparkler). To make room for them, this mod rebuilds the effect sets of the Dem Bones 2026, Ghost Skater and StuntRider costumes. While the mod is installed, those three costumes lose their own special effects.

Install PTG Animated Skateboard Trails
You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.
- Open
ReSkateLauncher.exeand go to MODS. - Search for PTG Animated Skateboard Trails and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
- Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.
Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.
Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
skatemods doesn't host or review this mod. The download comes straight from Thunderstore. Only install mods you trust, because scripts can run code.
