SSX 3 to Skate Port: SSX3 Metro-City (BRA2)

Metro-City SX3 Metro-City ported from SSX 3 into Skate.

🏔️ Overview

Bring classic arcade snowboarding terrain into Skate! This mod ports the full environment geometry and textures of {MAP_NAME} from SSX 3, re-engineered for skateboarding with custom collision, grinds, and jump lines.

📥 Installation

  1. Download the latest release zip for SSX3 Metro-City (BRA2).
  2. Extract the map folder directly into your ReSkate mods directory:
    • Path: ReSkate\Mods\
  3. Ensure the manifest.json file remains inside its respective map subfolder (e.g., ReSkate\Mods\{MAP_FOLDER_NAME}\manifest.json).
  4. Launch the game through ReSkate and select the map from your custom park selector.

🎮 Recommended Settings / Mod Setup

  • Skater Speed / Gravity: Recommended to tweak gravity or push speed settings if using trainer mods for maximum airtime on SSX-scale jumps.
  • Game Mode: Best enjoyed in Freeskate for exploring gaps and trick lines.

Install SX3MetroCity

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for SX3MetroCity and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
