Skate-Tanic — Skate Party ◆ Smoke Session

Skate-Tanic

Southampton, 10 April 1912: the day the Titanic set sail. This time, the harbour is yours to skate.

Version 0.4.0 · 13 October 2026 · Map ID titanic_lobby_party · by Skilly

Two RMS Titanics at full scale, 1:1: 269.06 m long and 28.19 m wide. The first is moored at the pier and open to skate, from the outer decks to the Grand Staircase, saloons, cabins, rails and stairs. The second has sunk, tilted 15°, and rises out of the sea like a giant ramp. All around them, the harbour of departure day has turned into one big skate party.

What's waiting for you

  • Mega ramp on the East Pier: 22 m roll-in, 6 m kicker, 12 m gap, 21° landing and a quarter pipe.
  • Arched iceberg, 84 m high, with a mega ramp running underneath: a 20 m drop at 45°, an 81.5 m run between grindable curbs and a quarter pipe at the end. A 100-step staircase takes you up to the roll-in.
  • Vert ramp: 17.3 m wide, 3.8 m deck, grindable coping, roll-in and side wedges.
  • Skate plaza at the spawn, with a cloverleaf bowl and a stair block with a handrail. Two harbour sheds turned into indoor parks: street plaza and bowl & vert.
  • Maritime Station with the Boat Train of 10 April 1912 (LSWR D15 No. 465): skate the carriage roofs and grind the gutters. Footbridge with double stairs, fountain plaza, hubbas, ledges and rails.
  • Titanic No. 1 interiors: Grand Staircase with dome and clock, lounge, reading room, smoking room, Verandah Café, first-class cabins, gym and bridge, plus stairs up to the raised roofs of the boat deck.
  • Smoke Session: the first-class smoking room is the meeting point of the map. Fast travel there, chill and chat.
  • 20 fast-travel points on the pause map, a period warehouse with interiors to skate, a 1912 port town on the horizon, pedestrians on the pier and the seafront, lamps and billboards that light up in the evening.
  • And somewhere in the ice there is a secret level. Follow the signs.

Play together

Everyone in the session needs the same version of the map: 0.4.0.

Install

  • Mod manager: install it like any other ReSkate map.
  • Manual: extract the zip into <skate. folder>\Mods\Skilly-SkateTanic.

How it was made

I designed and built the map in Blender, step by step, from 10 to 13 October 2026, through versions 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.3.1 and 0.4, testing it in game and fixing what I found. The measurements come from historical sources: the Titanic profile published in Engineering on 26 May 1911, scaled to the 269.06 m length overall, and the 1912 first-class deck plans. Along the way I used AI tools to help write the Python scripts that build geometry, textures and collisions, and I researched historical sources and forums.

Before and after from the very first version, measured plates, the 16 bugs found in game and fixed, and the full development story: github.com/AlexanderPuglisi/Skate-Tanic.

Made with AI tools, and only these: the SKATE-TANIC logo, the portraits and WANTED posters on board and 12 graffiti and stencils on the sheds, which I created with AI image tools; the arched iceberg and the statue on the pier, 3D models generated with Meshy (AI).

Found a bug?

The map is big and full of details: if something is wrong, sorry in advance. Report it and I will fix it as soon as possible.

Leave your easter egg

Help fix or improve the map and you can leave your own easter egg in it: your name, a sign, an object or a hidden detail. Suggest it, or ask me to make it; if needed, I adapt it to the style of the map.

Thanks to the ReSkate team and community, whose launcher, ReSkate Studio and map tools made this project possible, and to everyone who plays the map, reports bugs and contributes.

Versione 0.4.0 · 13 ottobre 2026 · Map ID titanic_lobby_party · by Skilly

  • Vert ramp: larga 17,3 m, deck a 3,8 m, coping grindabile, roll-in e cunei laterali.
Segui i cartelli.

Giocare insieme.

Come è nata.

Crediti e licenze. Vert ramp: Textured Skate Ramp - Assignment 5 di Apsis, CC BY 4.0, modificata. Livello segreto: Backrooms VR di VTX (ricaricamento dell'originale di carlcapu9), CC BY 4.0, modificato. Texture e modelli Poly Haven, CC0.

Install SkateTanic

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for SkateTanic and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.

skatemods doesn't host or review this mod. The download comes straight from Thunderstore. Only install mods you trust, because scripts can run code.
