Faith Connors — Mirror's Edge Catalyst

Bring Faith to ReSkate with her original outfit, tattoos, red glove, shoes and bob haircut. This is a complete native ReSkate mod ZIP.

Equip

Enable the mod and choose Faith Connors MEC in the full-body costumes category. This adds Faith as a separate costume using the Isaac Clarke costume structure as its donor.

Install or update

Use the ReSkate launcher mod installation/update workflow. For a manual install, close the game and extract the ZIP into ReSkate/Mods/Faith_Connors_MEC. manifest.json, layout.toc, and the Win32 folder must be directly inside that mod folder.

For an update, replace the files in your existing Faith folder. Keep only one Faith version installed and enabled. Duplicate versions previously caused a black model and a crash.

No FBMOD, Blender, or weight-transfer plugin is needed to play.

Version 1.6.3

Corrected the alternate hair vertex declarations and the matching influence-count metadata at all six LODs. The previous declarations could read the wrong UV, tangent and skin-weight streams. This addresses the reported hair disappearance during camera changes/actions without changing the approved model shape, skin weights, textures or material settings.

Rebuilt with the latest ReSkate Studio archive supplied on October 4, 2026. See CHANGELOG.md for earlier improvements.

Model details

  • Source proportions retained with native rig fitting and Mesh Online heat/corrective weight work.
  • Independent head/neck and shirt deformation; collar follows the chest.
  • Both eyes and fingers retained, with original Faith texture maps.
  • Reduced skin normal intensity and a private neutral detail map to remove the rough skin grain.
  • Maximum hair roughness, preserved opacity, and an elbow band matched to the black shirt.

Validation and limits

The native build, all six hair LODs, texture imports and EBX relocations pass offline checks. Version 1.6.2's appearance was approved in-game by the tester; the later intermittent hair issue prompted this update. The 1.6.3 camera/action fix still needs an in-game retest. Offline renders approximate game lighting.

Extreme poses can still intersect at the shirt hem. Face, eyes and teeth follow the Head bone; facial animation is not ported.

Install Faith Connors MEC

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for Faith Connors MEC and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
