Skate 3's crew takes over skate.'s voice lines. Coach Frank and Giovanni Reda react to what you do instead of Vee, Izzy and Shingo, and Skate 3's park announcers call the meet-ups.

What it replaces

In skate. Now voiced by
Vee - all 120 reaction lines (slams, tricks, big air, challenges, idling, replays, greetings...) Coach Frank + Giovanni Reda
Izzy - 18 challenge lines Coach Frank + Giovanni Reda
Shingo - 82 callouts (tricks, slams, out of bounds, wrong trick, missed target) Giovanni Reda
Meet-up announcer - 9 park lines Skate 3's park announcers
Online pings - hi, yes, no, nice one, I did it Coach Frank / Giovanni Reda
  • 3,000+ voice-line slots, 653 different Skate 3 takes in rotation.
  • Every replacement fits inside the line it replaces and keeps the game's original timing, so lines never run long or talk over the next one.
  • Frank and Reda are mixed evenly wherever both have lines (Reda has far more Skate 3 lines, so you hear him more).

In game

  • Install it from the ReSkate launcher's Mods page (or unzip into Skate/Mods/) and launch as usual.
  • English voice-over only: the game's language must be English.
  • Tutorials and missions keep Vee - they carry instructions. Subtitles still show the original text.
  • Not changed: Slappy's challenge lines and Dashawn's stadium event commentary.
  • Built for Skate.exe fbce74d5e28e (Steam build 25414733); ReSkate skips it on other builds.

  • Voice lines: Skate 3 (EA Black Box / Electronic Arts) - Coach Frank, Giovanni Reda and the park announcers. All voice recordings belong to Electronic Arts.

Install Stoops Vee Replacement Pack

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for Stoops Vee Replacement Pack and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
