A black and white spotted mushroom cap with a purple underside for ReSkate.

Features

  • A separate selectable hat: Own_MushroomHat4.
  • Height and angle fitted in Blender by StrayCat1559.
  • Original mushroom textures and native head attachment.
  • Includes the graphic-mask material repair that fixed the skater-loading crash.

Install

  1. Install this package through the ReSkate launcher's mod browser, or drag this ZIP onto its Mod Manager.
  2. Enable the mod, then fully restart ReSkate.
  3. Open the skater customization menu, go to Hats, and select Own_MushroomHat4.

For manual installation, create Mods/Shrum_Mushroom_Hat/ beside Skate.exe, then extract this ZIP's contents into that folder. Keep Win32/ and its subfolders intact.

Disable or remove older copies of this hat before using this package, including Own_MushroomHat4 or MushroomHat4 from earlier local installations. They share the same cosmetic ID.

Compatibility

  • Observed working with ReSkate 2.0.7 and skate. build 25414733 on Windows.
  • Verified loading into the Hub and returning to gameplay with the hat equipped.
  • Other game builds and multiplayer have not been verified for this package.
  • Uses the game's hat hair variant; some hairstyles can still clip against the cap.
  • No additional Thunderstore package dependencies.

Uninstall

Unequip the hat, disable the package in Mod Manager, and restart ReSkate.

Support

If reporting a problem, include your ReSkate version, whether it happens on loading or selecting the hat, and any crash log. Avoid editing the graphic-mask material parameter in older Studio builds, which can restore the invalid parameter type repaired in this release.

Install Shrum Mushroom Hat

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for Shrum Mushroom Hat and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
