Version 1.1.3 — 12 October 2026

A cosmetics pack for skate., built with ReSkate Studio for ReSkate.

Installation

  1. Close skate. and ReSkateLauncher.
  2. Remove the previous SunshinePlungeCosmetics folder from your game's Mods folder. Keep a backup if needed.
  3. Create Mods/SunshinePlungeCosmetics beside Skate.exe, then extract this ZIP into that folder.
  4. Check that layout.toc, initfs_win32, .reskate-studio-patch, and Win32 are directly inside Mods/SunshinePlungeCosmetics. Avoid an extra nested folder.
  5. Open ReSkateLauncher, enable the pack in the Mods page, and start the game.

Replace the entire old mod folder when updating; do not overlay these files onto an older patch. Install only one copy of this pack.

Update 1.1.3

Repackaged the newly rebuilt and deployed cosmetics patch. The local ReSkate log on 12 October 2026 recorded this deployment with no merge problem. Includes updated package metadata, installation instructions, and a changelog.

Compatibility

Built for the game executable identified by the included .reskate-studio-patch stamp. Other game builds have not been verified. Other cosmetics or shader mods may override shared resources according to load order.

Troubleshooting

If ReSkate reports a merge failure, check logs/ReSkate.log beside Skate.exe. Confirm that the entire previous pack was removed and that only one copy is installed. Use a pack version compatible with your ReSkate game build.

Install Sunshine Plunge Cosmetics

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for Sunshine Plunge Cosmetics and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
