A coastal skatepark built into the hills above the ocean. Start at the overlook, follow the snake run downhill, then link lines through the Flow Park, bowl complex, vert areas and street terraces. Evening is the default time of day.

The park

  • Snake run: Banked turns, flowing transitions, kickers, an optional 2.2 m gap and five extended grind rails. Stay on the main route or take the jump line.
  • Flow Park: Connected transitions, hips and raised platforms for linking lines across the park.
  • Bowls and vert: A bowl complex, large transition features, a main vert area and a progression area.
  • Street terraces: Stairs, rails, ledges and open plazas across multiple elevations.
  • Coastal setting: Mountain views, palm-lined paths, landscaped slopes, shade sails and lighting throughout the park.
  • Getting around: Thirteen fast-travel stops, a custom loading screen and a pause-menu overview.

Install

Install through the ReSkate launcher's MODS page, or drag this ZIP onto the launcher window. Enable the mod, launch skate. through ReSkate, then choose Contour Skatepark from the map menu.

Disable older Contour development builds before enabling this release.

For a manual install, extract the contents of the ZIP into Mods/Contour_Skatepark/ beside Skate.exe. The folder should contain manifest.json, reskate-levels.json, layout.toc, initfs_win32 and Win32/ directly, without another package folder in between.

ReSkate is required. No additional Thunderstore packages are required. If a future game or ReSkate update affects compatibility, check this page for an updated release.

Found a collision problem, a missing surface or a performance issue? Send Rezlin a screenshot, the nearest fast-travel stop and the map version (1.0.0). For performance reports, include your graphics settings and hardware.

Original map by Rezlin, made for ReSkate with Blender and ReSkate Studio. The map and its promotional artwork were created with AI assistance.

Install Contour Skatepark

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for Contour Skatepark and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
