Skate 3 NPC Overhaul Concept v0.2.2 — RB + No Dodge

SOURCE KIT ONLY. NOT A FUNCTIONAL MOD. Installing or uploading this ZIP will NOT remap RB or change NPC behavior.

Requested changes to implement when suitable ReSkate game hooks are available:

  • Right bumper (RB) activates an original skateboard swing animation; handle input conflicts with current RB gameplay binding before enabling.
  • NPCs do not automatically sidestep as the skater approaches. Keep ordinary collision response and get-up behavior.

See config/defaults.json and design/IMPLEMENTATION.md. Do not advertise this package as a playable gameplay mod.

Install Skate3 NPC Overhaul Concept

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for Skate3 NPC Overhaul Concept and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.

skatemods doesn't host or review this mod. The download comes straight from Thunderstore. Only install mods you trust, because scripts can run code.
