Twenty griptapes from Fourth Studio, each in two versions: fresh, and skated after a hard life. That makes 40 grip items: hand-drawn in sharpie, chalk and paint pen, cut from coloured grip, sticker-bombed, graffiti pieces, printed art, sprayed through a stencil. Look closely and you'll find a small FS hidden on every one.

Skated means skated
The worn versions are thrashed for real: razored nose and tail cut down through the wood plies, chunks ground out of the rails, frayed edges, grip torn round the bolts and ripped off in patches with the glue still on the wood, worn bald under the feet, an ollie scuff by the nose, scratches, shoe prints, mud, gum, and on some a peeled end or a crack across the deck. The damage has depth: chips, cracks and torn grip are in the normal maps, so they catch the light.

Install
Install with the mod manager. To install by hand, extract the zip into its own folder inside Skate\Mods.

Want your own design skated like these? The free FS Grip Wear Overlays (10 wear overlays with their normal maps, plus a template showing the board's outline and bolts) are made for that.
Install FS Griptapes
You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.
- Open
ReSkateLauncher.exeand go to MODS. - Search for FS Griptapes and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
- Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.
Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.
Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
