Your items, sorted your way. Make your own tabs in the skater item menus, give each a name and an icon, and drop any item into them: tops, bottoms, shoes, hats, decks, whatever you like, all in one tab. Flip through your tabs like the game's own.
And wear more than the outfit allows: put an item on top of your outfit and keep it there while you change the rest.
No DLL. It is a sandboxed ReSkate plugin (the plugin folder). In game it is called Item tabs.
What you need
- A ReSkate with plugins. Plugins come after ReSkate 2.1.1. On an older ReSkate this mod does nothing.
How it works
Open any item grid in the skater customization menu.

- A tab shows its items from every grid of the screen, so a tab can hold tops, bottoms and shoes together.
- Icons: the game's own category icons and 26 more: ring, earring, piercing, necklace, chain, scarf, bracelet, watch, gem, crown, star, heart, skull, flame, bolt, dice, music, flower, moon, bone, eye, bag, ghost, spray, tag and folder.
- Items on top carry the game's check on their tiles.
- The prompts follow what you used last, keys or a pad, with Xbox or PlayStation buttons. A button you have to hold fills a ring.

Good to know
- Saved for you. Your tabs and the items on top are kept between sessions.
- Store items: paid store items cannot be worn on top.
- While a panel is open, the mouse and the keys are the panel's.
Install
Install with ReSkate's mod browser. If it says the mod has nothing for ReSkate to load, install it by hand: extract the zip into a folder of its own inside Skate\Mods (for example Skate\Mods\Wardrobe_Tabs_and_Layers).

Install Wardrobe Tabs and Layers
You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.
- Open
ReSkateLauncher.exeand go to MODS. - Search for Wardrobe Tabs and Layers and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
- Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.
Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.
Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
skatemods doesn't host or review this mod. The download comes straight from Thunderstore. Only install mods you trust, because scripts can run code.
