Recreation of the Ed Templetons / Toy Machine Charred deck for Skate

What's included

Item Category Details
Toy Machine Templeton (Natural) Deck Ed Templeton's artwork on a natural maple veneer.
Toy Machine Templeton (Black) Deck The same artwork on a black-stained veneer.

The artwork is aligned so it sits in exactly the same place on both decks. Bolt holes have been removed so they line up with your trucks in game. Your deck shape, grip, trucks and wheels stay separately selectable.

Content note

The graphic is Ed Templeton's anti-racist artwork: a Klansman burning on a cross above a burning, broken swastika. It is included as a recreation of a real, commercially released deck. It is not an endorsement of the hate symbols it depicts but a rebuttal of it.

Install

  1. Install from the MODS page in the ReSkate launcher, or drag the zip onto that page.
  2. Enable Toy Machine Templeton Decks** in your mod list and launch the game.
  3. Open Board > Deck.

If you install by hand, put the mod folder in ReSkate\Mods. layout.toc and the Win32 folder must sit directly inside that folder, not inside a nested one.

Compatibility

  • Built with ReSkate Studio for the Skate build ReSkate supports (20260929).
  • If skate. or ReSkate moves to a new build, ReSkate leaves this mod out until it has been rebuilt.

Troubleshooting

  • Decks missing: check that the mod is enabled and that ReSkate didn't report a game-build mismatch at launch.

When reporting a problem, include the mod version, your ReSkate version and a screenshot.

Install Toy Machine Ed Templeton Charred Decks

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for Toy Machine Ed Templeton Charred Decks and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
