World Industries Bones Skate Shoes

The World Industries Bones skate shoe in ReSkate. Black suede, the skull and skeleton hands graphic down the outside, a red WORLD on the tongue, WORLD twice across the sole, black laces and a white stripe round the bottom. Proper mid-2000s skate shoe.

It's a whole new shoe, not a repaint of one of the game's shoes. I took a model of the real shoe off Sketchfab, fitted it to skate.'s foot, made the six levels of detail the game uses and rigged it to the same foot bones as the game's 90s puffy skate shoe, so it moves like the stock shoes. It's one item called World Industries Bones in the shoes list, nothing gets replaced.

Bits worth knowing

The model came as one shoe plus a mirror copy of it, so on the left foot all the writing read backwards. I flipped the text back on the left shoe: the WORLD lettering and the World Industries logo in the side graphic, the gothic WORLD INDUSTRIES along the laces, the tongue, the W on the toe, both WORLDs and the INDUSTRIES under the sole, and the lettering on the sidewall. The skull, the hands and the red trident stay a mirror image of the right shoe.

The look is the model's own photo texture, so the suede, the stitching and the scuffs on the sole are all off the real shoe. It's a fairly low-poly model, so it's a bit blocky round the toe up close. The model also came with a pair of black socks, I left those out so your own socks show.

Install

Install it with your mod manager, or extract the zip into a folder called MysteriousMagexX-World_Industries_Bones_Skate_Shoes inside ReSkate's Mods folder, turn it on and restart the game.

I fitted it to the game, made the left shoe and the LODs, flipped the text on the left shoe so it reads right, rigged it to the game's foot and left out the socks.
