Michael De Santa (GTA V)

Michael De Santa from Grand Theft Auto V as a full-body costume for skate., running on ReSkate.

Shows up in Apparel → Costumes as michael gta 5.

Version 1.0.0

Full Michael De Santa model with his own textures: grey suit, white shirt, belt, trousers, polished shoes, face and hair.
Uses the model's own rig, mapped onto the skate. skeleton: arms and legs fitted to skate.'s bones, hands kept in shape with every finger laid along its own skate. finger bones, so hands open, reach and grip naturally.
Shoes keep their real size and bend like skate.'s own footwear, fitted so they don't sink into the board.
Neck, collar and cuffs tuned so the suit moves with him: hidden skin and shirt under the jacket removed, and the sleeve and cuff layers twist together.
Trousers use the same knee and hip helper bones as skate.'s own track pants, with extra geometry so they fold at the knee.
The whole skater body is hidden, so nothing pokes through.
Built on its own costume template (Girl Logo Classic, with its logo and extras removed). Any other character mods that also use the Girl Logo Classic Costume template will conflict with this mod and likely corrupt the textures.

Known limitations

Minor clipping can occur at the neck, where small bits of the shirt collar or skin show through the back of the jacket collar (mostly when he turns his head). It has been reduced as much as possible.
The jacket clips into the trousers, for example in crouches and when the hips bend. This is a real limitation: clothing in skate. moves with the skeleton only and does not collide with itself.

Install

Copy this folder into Skate\Mods\.
Start the game through the ReSkate launcher and enable GTA5_Michael_De_Santa in the mod list if it isn't already.
In game, open Apparel → Costumes and equip michael gta 5.

Install GTA5 Michael De Santa

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
Search for GTA5 Michael De Santa and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
