Purple engraved ear gauges for both ears, fitted in Blender by Zach / StrayCat1559.

Features

  • A selectable wearable: Own_EarGauges in Eyewear.
  • Occupies the sunglasses slot when equipped.
  • Preserves the authored earlobe placement, angle, size and engraved design.
  • Native head attachment and private purple material.
  • Optimized from the source model for in-game use.

Install and equip

  1. Install through the ReSkate launcher's mod browser, or use Mod Manager → Install .zip.
  2. Enable Ear Gauges and fully restart ReSkate.
  3. Open skater customization, go to Accessories → Eyewear, and select Own_EarGauges.

For manual installation, create Mods/Ear_Gauges/ beside Skate.exe and extract this ZIP's contents there. Keep Win32/ and all its subfolders intact.

Disable older local copies such as Own_EarGauges before enabling the Thunderstore package. They contain the same item ID, so only one copy should be enabled.

Compatibility

  • Built for ReSkate 2.0.7 and skate. build 25414733 on Windows.
  • The author confirmed the gauges working in game before packaging.
  • Fit may vary with different player head shapes; some hairstyles can cover the earrings.
  • Multiplayer and other game builds have not been verified.
  • No additional Thunderstore package dependencies.

Uninstall

Unequip the gauges, disable the mod in Mod Manager, and restart ReSkate.

This package contains the compiled cosmetic and its textures. Editable Blender files, development logs and unrelated mods are not included.

Install Ear Gauges

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for Ear Gauges and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
