Bone Guy Pack — ReSkate

A fan-made cosmetic pack for skate., made for use with ReSkate. Chrome-skeleton streetwear in the Bone Guy style: spiked chrome lettering, a skeleton skater, sparkle stars and wireframe globes, with holographic highlights.

Shirts

Edit the bracketed lines to match what you actually export before you publish.

Requirements

  • skate. (Steam)
  • ReSkate, with a build that supports mods
  • ReSkate Studio is only needed if you want to edit or rebuild the pack

Install

Recommended: ReSkate Launcher

  1. Open the ReSkate Launcher and go to MODS.
  2. Install this pack from Thunderstore, or download the ZIP and drag it onto the MODS page.
  3. Launch skate. through ReSkate.
  4. Press Insert to open the ReSkate menu, go to MODS, and enable the pack if it isn't already.

Manual

  1. Close the game and the launcher.
  2. Extract the ZIP into its own folder inside the game's Mods directory, next to Skate.exe (for example Mods/Bone_Guy_Pack/).
  3. Make sure manifest.json and the other mod files are directly inside that folder, not in an extra nested folder. Keep hidden files.
  4. Start the game through ReSkate and enable the mod from Insert → MODS.

Equip

  • Shirts: open character customisation and look in the tops/shirts section.
  • Grip tape: open the board customisation and look in the grip tape section.

Troubleshooting

  • Mod won't load: check for a ReSkate or game-build compatibility warning, and confirm the files aren't nested inside an extra folder.
  • Pack missing in the menu: make sure it's enabled under Insert → MODS.
  • Wrong textures or odd colours: disable other clothing or grip mods to check for a conflict.
  • Holographic areas look wrong: the holographic effect depends on the game's material settings. Leave them at default.
  • Keep only one version of this pack installed and enabled.

Install Bone Guy Pack

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for Bone Guy Pack and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
