The four vault hunters from the original Borderlands as full-body outfits for skate., running on ReSkate.

Outfit
Mordecai goggles, beard and red scarf
Brick vest, jeans, chain belt and necklace
Lilith red hair, tattoos and jacket
Roland cap and goggles, scarf, camo and shoulder armour

Install

Install through the ReSkate mod manager, then in game open Skaters > Apparel > Costumes and equip any of the four.

Details

  • The original Borderlands models, skinned to the skate. skeleton with their own bone weights, so they skate, grind and bail like any other outfit.
  • Each character uses their own textures, with the default Borderlands colour scheme baked in.
  • Fitted to skate. proportions: boots sit flat on the ground, heads keep their original shape.
  • Built on the Dem Bones costume template, with its bone-debris effect and bone sounds removed.

Notes

  • Body-shape sliders on your skater may push the outfits slightly out of shape. They look best on the default build.
  • The surfaces are flat-shaded (no normal-map detail), like the painted Borderlands look.

Borderlands characters and artwork belong to Gearbox Software and 2K. This is an unofficial fan mod.

Install Borderlands Vault Hunters

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for Borderlands Vault Hunters and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
