Sanctuary, the floating city from Borderlands 2, rebuilt as a skateable map for ReSkate.

The whole town is here, built from the original level layout: Scooter's garage, Moxxi's, the fast-travel square, the back alleys and the rooftops.

Features

  • The full Sanctuary Air town, with the original buildings, props and ground
  • Grindable railings, banisters and pipes
  • Interiors lit with the town's own fixture lights, plus baked global illumination
  • Rough metal plates, grates and catwalks smoothed over, so you don't snag on them
  • Loose trash and small clutter you roll straight through
  • Borderlands-style loading screen

Install

Install it from the ReSkate Launcher's mod list, then pick SanctuaryAir from the custom maps menu in game.

Notes

  • It's a big, detailed map, so the first load takes a little longer while shaders verify.
  • If you find a hole in the floor or a spot that snags your board, open the ReSkate menu (Insert), go to Trainer > Map & HUD, and include the Position readout with your report.

Install Sanctuary Air

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

  1. Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
  2. Search for Sanctuary Air and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
  3. Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.

skatemods doesn't host or review this mod. The download comes straight from Thunderstore. Only install mods you trust, because scripts can run code.
