OLAY ALLEYWAY, brought to ReSkate from the original Skater XL map by olay.
What's Changed
- Scaled the map up by 1.25× to better fit ReSkate.
- Upscaled selected textures and corrected material, transparency, and texture-mapping issues.
- Fixed overlapping geometry and adjusted ground decals to reduce flickering.
- Added manual grind splines to metal rails, concrete benches, and the tops of the wooden stair ledges.
- Assigned surface-specific collision and grind sounds throughout the map.
- Added smooth, invisible collision surfaces over the pallets so they work properly as kickers.
- Kept tree trunks solid while removing collision from branches, leaves, bushes, and grass.
- Optimized the map by removing unused texture data and sharing repeated meshes, without reducing texture resolution or visible detail. It’s still a pretty big map!
Install
Unzip the package and place the olay_alleyway folder inside your Skate installation’s Mods folder. Restart ReSkate, then select OLAY ALLEYWAY from the custom map menu.

Install OLAY ALLEYWAY
You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.
- Open
ReSkateLauncher.exeand go to MODS. - Search for OLAY ALLEYWAY and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
- Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.
Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.
Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.
