OLAY WAY REMASTERED, brought to ReSkate from the original Skater XL map by olay.

What's Changed

Scaled the map to fit ReSkate.
Upscaled textures and corrected material and texture-mapping issues.
Added streetlamps with warm amber lighting and visible bulbs.
Added nighttime lighting throughout the warehouse, covered passage, basketball court, and industrial yard.
Added manual grind curves and assigned surface sounds to rails, benches, and other props.
Adjusted selected rails and improved collision around trees and other objects.
Added environmental effects, including vent smoke, falling leaves.
Optimized the export using lossless compression to reduce download size without reducing texture quality. (i know it's still pretty big)

Install

Unzip the package and place the olay_way_remastered folder inside your Skate installation’s Mods folder. Restart ReSkate, then select OLAY WAY REMASTERED from the custom map menu.

Install OLAY WAY REMASTERED

You need ReSkate and your own copy of skate. on Steam.

Open ReSkateLauncher.exe and go to MODS.
Search for OLAY WAY REMASTERED and click install. The launcher also installs anything it depends on.
Press PLAY. In game, the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert) turns it on and off.

Or install it by hand: download the .zip and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder in Mods\ beside Skate.exe.

Maps show up in the ReSkate menu's level list. To join a server running a custom map, you need the same map installed. If the game won't load after installing, see known issues.

skatemods doesn't host or review this mod. The download comes straight from Thunderstore. Only install mods you trust, because scripts can run code.
